Bear Lake 2011

Bear Lake week was a lot of sitting around and doing nothing...as Nelson said "I signed up to sit on the beach and do nothing....and that is what I am doing." We had a nice time together. I was luck to eventually have my whole family with us...from Gary down to Ry guy...and then there was the extended Cole Family, we were only missing 5......pretty good turn out. It was fun doing the family trivia. I was glad to know all the answers and that my kids now know the answers and can pass the info along.
The only odd thing was being in three condos and not on top of each other......odd but nice.

I am not dead yet..... It has been a busy fun filled past 3 weeks. We have spent some wonderful time with Nelson. We went to Bear Lake with the Call Family. Christmas landed at the Call home, a few days late and a couple of decorations short but it is here none the less. We had a Whobilation of a Ward Christmas Party.....my last event as Activities Chairman. Addison Welch's Wedding. And so much more. I haven't even begun my Christmas Shopping, but hey it will come around again next year. Costumes for Cinderella are due Saturday and prince Charming's costume is in a pile next to the sewing machine.

We have been having a wonderful summer! We returned from our annual Cole family retreat at Bear Lake and are trying to get back to normal. We had an awesome time at the lake with weather ranging from cold to very hot....We played in the water, sand and under the sun. We ate too much had, lots of time to read and play games. I even did some painting while on the beach. I think I can safely say that we all had a good time together....but we are also all a lot older.

We had Captain Awesome with us Friday and Saturday and he loves the beach and the water.

We're Back

Beautiful Bear Lake UT.

We had a wonderful week with the Family at Bear lake. We have been going to the lake for 37 years now....What a great tradition.

This was a very relaxed year. Elder Call couldn't wait to hear about the drama....not much drama. especially compared to last year....not necessarily for us but a lot of bad stuff that week at the lake...nuff said.
